Yes, time once again for a collaboration. A part of my world is living in the land of Princesses, queens and anything sparkely, shiny, fuzzy or pink. Even as I write this my granddaughter is changing into her pink dance costume to get ready for her wedding. I'm getting to know all those fairy tales once again and once again I wonder how and where they came from--from once upon a time, a long time ago. In one of the versions of Snow White, her step mother, the evil queen not only asks the huntsman to take Snow White into the forest to kill her and bring back her heart,(which is horrible enough!), but she, the evil queen, eats the heart!!! I found myself just reading along la de da...and whoops! too late. That was a piece of information she didn't need to hear--we were sort of researching some of the older versions of all the fairytales. I thought it would be fun!SOLD

I'll have to check out that book, and yes we try to shelter our children, but good luck in this world--they might as well hear the fairy tales!---------Sue
