This blog started with small daily paintings then changed to a more personal sharing of projects, events and photos. Enjoy!

Agate Beach nodp

While camping at Patrick's Point State Park, we hiked down to Agate Beach and created another mini Andy Goldsworthy.
I'm working on two natal charts and will post their progress soon.
I have posted another of my older paintngs, 'Skull Necklace' on the Daily Painters web, check it out. I wear that necklace most every Halloween since I made it years ago.

My Mom's Quilt nodp

My mom made this quilt. She never finished putting in all the quilting stitches she intended. In fact she never finished hemming around the edges, so when my sisters and I were visiting, (she lives in the alzheimers wing in a care facility), we snatched the quilt to finish the hem. I love this quilt--I only wish I had taken a picture of it on her bed. It looks the best that way, in her room with all her things she had taken from her house to make her room feel like the home she'd lived in for so many years.

Today I posted my 'Gargoyle painting' on the Daily Painters Web.

Wedding NOPD

My daughter's wedding was just beautiful--They were married on Wedding Rock in Patrick's Point State Park up in northern CA. We camped, helped out and had fun! That's my granddaughter as the flower girl.

When I first started this blog site, I intended it to be for my paintings only. When I surfed around to other painters sites, it bothered me if they posted about other things, now here I am doing just that!

My plan is to get back to painting, but helping to raise a little one, my time is always being altered. I'm working my way back to having a good chunk of time to paint, but it just hasn't happened yet. I'm posting some of my older paintings directly through the Daily Painters web site, while I get that time together. I posted "Bronze Babies" to show up for tomorrow.

Kindergarten

I'm back, but will be finishing a few commissions before I post new paintings. So School begins, but it's a short day, I 'll probably take a few days on a painting---we'll see what happens. I did make this sweater! The very first sweater I've ever made. The sleeves are too long and kind of bulky, but she likes it! It's already time to go pick up the little one!! Good lord....

Beach Rocks

I've been away--I'm back, but not for long. My sister, granddaughter, and I collected red, yellow, green, gray, black and white rocks...

My granddaughter's design.

Now to go to my daughter's wedding!! Painting is just going to have to wait!
