Sewing a Birthday Skirt nodp

I thought this skirt would only take an afternoon, but having put it together without a pattern (even though it's an easy elastic waist skirt), took a bit longer--plus I used and old shirt for the bottom ruffle, so I pieced it together--and then I had the great idea of finishing all the inside seams--why? Because I'm crazy and I just like the look and it wears longer--also the inside seams bother her skin, I thought this might help. I love using this old singer straight stitch machine. I've done paintings of it here and here.
My revisited painting for today it, 'Toilet Paper Bow'

Susan!

Do sewing machines normally look so detailed?

So intricate looking! Very cool!

Yes it's so cool to sew on the old singer, knowing you and Mom and our two other sisters sewed on it too!

Hi Dean,--this is an old machine! The new ones are no so detailed in this decorative manner.
