A Tangle of Kelp, watercolor

I love the way large bunches of kelp wash up on the beach--it lands in a tangle that looks like the motion of water, waves and wind.

Gorgeous! So much energy it feels 10 feet square.

Oh wow.... you don't just settle for simple subjects do you young lady. I love this!

Sheila is that a reprimand? It should be, this was not a simple subject. Now...I might even opt to do a series, but because of the complexity, I hesitate...we'll see, but they might take me a bit loooonger to complete!!

This is so wonderful to look at, Susan!

The color combinations are so pleasing to the eye.

So many warm colors with hints of green and blue being snuck in.

I love the movement and flow of the kelp. The tangled composition looks so natural.

Excellent job!!
