Okay... this probably a stupid question but do you photograph these awesome images to paint?

Wonderful airy feeling but also conveying the power and aggressiveness of these birds. Colours are superb Susan.

Susan!

You capture action quite well and this painting is no exception.

I think this is the first time I've seen a painting of birds in this kind of pose.

So unique and lively!

Yes, Sheila I do photograph what I want to paint--then I change the composition and color a bit--not a stupid question!

Thank you Sheila V!

Hi Kanikkonna, Thanks for viewing--just not too sure about the on line magazine offer...

-----------------

Thanks Dean---Since I used a photo, I caught some awkward or different positions these birds can achieve in the air--anything to get the food!

Is that the Brey I know?? Good to hear from you---wild life is so interesting!!

Hey Marth! Good to talk to you today!

Thank you Robin! I'm responding to all these comments in a very backward order, but that's me.

Thank you all for stopping by, because this eggs me on--oh boy--that just opened up the door for puns!!
