Puddle Reflection

The Daily painters theme for this month is reflection, in whatever form that may be. Check out the paintings for Wednesday, March 4th. Before I set out to paint, a crystal hanging in my window threw a little rainbow on my watercolor paper, and the early morning sun caught my spectacles.

I love this painting. It just sparkles. I think of my kids when they were young in Oregon.

Susan this painting is masterful. You seem to have total control over the medium but retain a freshness every time. I love how you manage to incorporate looking after your granddaughter with your painting. And she is obviously so happy to be a part of it.

Love this work! I remember my childhood when I believe in another world living in the other side of the water.
Un saludo.

Welcome, Becky Joy and thank you!

Hi Sheila, yes I can't help but have my granddaughter in my paintings--I think she is happy to be part of it and she often wants every painting I do!

Thanks NoNo--a world on the other side of the water--I like that! Could be a great children's book.

Hi Martha, right back at ya with the rock and roll gramma!

Love the composition here!

We only see the full figure in the reflection of the puddle.
