Eucalyptus Leaves V

Crazy bright orange new growth waving and dancing on the top of a eucalyptus tree reminding me of an intricate Calder mobile branching out to smaller and smaller leaves.

I agree with Shelia...wonderful use of the negative space. The clean blue works beautifully with the bright colors. This one gives me a real feeling of space and freshness.

Thanks Martha--I've been thinking about making another mobile lately, but there are other things I must do.

Hi Gwen,
Thanks! I just love the sounds of space and freshness.

This one's unique, Susan!

I love the combination of fully formed leaves against the older crumbling leaves, against the new growth just beginning to emerge.

I don't think I've ever seen someone capture a "circle of life" scene like that in painting before!

Like all of your paintings, this has a lot of movement in it without even trying.

The vibrant colors just top it all off and make it complete!
