Hand Holding a Track Ball

My granddaughter has had a cold--been out of school--couldn't paint--then we've been busy with crafts--making gifts--eating snowman pancakes--dancing in the nutcracker ballet--collecting huge leaves--went to see Santa--he didn't show up so they had a lady sit in for him! The soda box throne is just wrong--yes it was put on by coca-cola--I should have known.

This is the hand of my daughter's fiancee. He's holding a track ball to a computer game. He recycles computers and puts them together. I'm working on a computer he put together for me and my husband. He showed up this Thanksgiving with a new big flat computer screen! I've got to say I wouldn't be doing this painting and posting if not for my daughter and her fiancee. She has set me up with a digital camera and he with the computer------Thank you both!!
It takes more than one hand to paint a hand!

I may not get another painting in till January--lots to do in these short days at this time of year!

Beautiful P!
Tell me oh Track Ball - how do you keep track of it all?

Looks like you and P have been having fun together, Sue. That you have time to paint at all is a miracle!!

Love seeing all the pics - that fabric that you and P are printing is so pretty!!!

Santa must have a magic track ball. P keeps wondering how he sees everything--the other day she said, "He must be looking out the window ALL THE TIME!!"

I suppose I should have expected track ball puns. Nice job sue. Did you know that the modern image of Santa Claus was created by Coke? Although the story of St Nick existed before and a general description existed as well. The red suit, beard, etc was created for a coke bottle.

I didn't know that---makes sense, yet it's sad, but fitting that santa the robust symbol of all the material glory and glitz of Christmas, be tied to a huge soft drink industry. Tell me, without the track ball would you have known this? We're going to miss you this Christmas. I hope yours is a good one!
