Hands with Purse

My friend and artist Frederique stopped by, these are her hands opening her purse. Here's a few pictures from over the holiday. My daughter arrived with a truck load of snow! My granddaughter who lately has been very curious about snow and has been hoping one day to see it, was so excited! We made a tailgate snowman and a little one we put in our freezer. We have a first good size crop of lemons from our tree--it was a struggle to get our tree to grow--ants--and deers just about did it in. I hope you had a great holiday and have a happy new year!!

Buckeye Sponge Bob Hands

My son , who works for Coastal Tree Experts, brought over some buckeyes. They remind me of chestnuts, but they're bigger. I love their color and how they pop out of the casing they grow in. "Way up yonder above the sky, a blue bird lived in a jay bird's eye, Buckeye Jim you can't go, go weave and spin, you can't go, Buckeye Jim." My son picked up these buckeyes and held them like so... My husband and granddaughter decorated some more snowman pancakes. Check out the teeny tiny arms and legs made with sunflower seeds on my husband's!
The daily painters have their first book out entitled: colour, obsession, joy and torment
We all created a page. It's a lot of fun to look through. You can check out the book further and buy a copy through amazon, if you would like.

Hand Holding a Track Ball

My granddaughter has had a cold--been out of school--couldn't paint--then we've been busy with crafts--making gifts--eating snowman pancakes--dancing in the nutcracker ballet--collecting huge leaves--went to see Santa--he didn't show up so they had a lady sit in for him! The soda box throne is just wrong--yes it was put on by coca-cola--I should have known.

This is the hand of my daughter's fiancee. He's holding a track ball to a computer game. He recycles computers and puts them together. I'm working on a computer he put together for me and my husband. He showed up this Thanksgiving with a new big flat computer screen! I've got to say I wouldn't be doing this painting and posting if not for my daughter and her fiancee. She has set me up with a digital camera and he with the computer------Thank you both!!
It takes more than one hand to paint a hand!

I may not get another painting in till January--lots to do in these short days at this time of year!
