Hands Holding an Engine Piece

I have no idea what kind of machinery piece this is. It has been a part of our outdoor collection of rocks and other things. My husband posed for me. He picked it up and said, "This looks like you." My husband is a maintenance worker and his father was a mechanic.

I was tagged a few posts back by my sister,
Martha Miller.
The six bloggers I'm tagging are:

The rules:

1. Link to the person who tagged you

2. Mention the rules

3. Tell 6 quirky but boring, unspectacular details about yourself.

4. Tag 6 other bloggers by linking to them

5. Go to each person's blog and leave a comment that lets them know they've been tagged

My 6 quirky, boring, unspectacular details:

1. I write notes to myself all the time, in fact I'm using one right now

2. I like to nap outside because it makes me feel like I'm doing something; I'm being productive.

3. Before sending out my framed paintings I hang them on my wall for a short period of time.

4. My two biggest fears as a child were of being kidnapped and having my tonsils out.

5. Wet string gives me the creeps

6. I've been secretly waiting to be tagged--this must be the most boring and pathetic one of all!

Spectacular painting!!! I thought that those were your hands! Terrific!!!

But those 6 boring details - ho hum - yes, how pathetic - mine are FAR more interesting :^)

(I'm right there with you on the wet string - especially if there's other stuff stuck to it - EW...)

If you thought they were my hands then the painting isn't that terrific. But of course I do agree that your's are way far more interesting.

the painting is still terrific, and yes, my boring details remain far and away more boring than yours!

Your hands are beautifully done. I'm envious, because hands are very difficult for me. And the way you have used the hands in your compositions is really inviting. I mean, it invites me into the painting.

Really fantastic. The gesture of these hard-working hands is wonderful.
