My computer still has a virus, but i'm away and I don't care till I get back--hope you are enjoying the summer!
This blog started with small daily paintings then changed to a more personal sharing of projects, events and photos. Enjoy!

Topiaries in Morro Bay, CA
Ross and Hedy Hale own the Full Moon pottery and studio gallery here in Morro Bay. Check out these topiaries that Ross continually creates every day! The couple also manages the Rancho RV park right next door--his topiaries grace the sidewalk in front of the fenced in park. I peeked at the topiaries within the park, behind the fence and wanted to walk through the park, taking more pictures, but was too shy to ask to do so. I love to walk this block long stretch on Harbor St, and take in these artistically and meticulously pruned bushes and trees!
See the very cubed shaped bush or is it a tree (?), in the background, behind the car? Yes, that's a topiary too!
Ross' topiaries bring to mind a documentary I watched called: 'A Man Named Pearl' here's a small segment of the documentary:
If you haven't seen this...you should!
Thanks to Ross and Hedy Hale for letting me take pictures and post about their topiary creations!!

Keeping Busy
All of these things were keeping me busy a few weeks ago, I'm a little out dated, but that's ok. I put these two paintings in the Degas art show at my granddaughter's dance studio--the bottom one sold--I still have the top one framed if anyone is interested--give me an e-mail.
My granddaughter's school had a teacher appreciation week. We dug up oak tree saplings...
made magnets and cards, oh my! We so do appreciate her teacher and all the helpers!
