Kindergarten

I'm back, but will be finishing a few commissions before I post new paintings. So School begins, but it's a short day, I 'll probably take a few days on a painting---we'll see what happens. I did make this sweater! The very first sweater I've ever made. The sleeves are too long and kind of bulky, but she likes it! It's already time to go pick up the little one!! Good lord....

Grampa

I was a guest art teacher at my granddaughter's preschool this morning. I meant to take a few pictures, but just didn't have a moment to do that! I finish the project with them next Tuesday, so I hope to get a few pictures then.

Rock Star Fairy

Put on your fairy wings, dark glasses and play some music! Seems I'm searching for things to feed my soul---my granddaughter helps me to keep in touch with what does, but she also seems to need my total attention. Such is life! Here's an early morning view from a trail close to home--looking to where the sun rises.

Granddaughter's Guitar

I watched a movie last night called Weeping Camel. A Musician was called upon to help with a camel problem. A mother camel had rejected her baby. First he strapped the intrument onto the mother camel, I think to pick up on the camel's tone, then the musician played some of the same tones while one of the camel's owners, a young mother, sang and stroked the mother camel. Through the music the mother camel weeped and accepted her baby.

Day Four

This morning we finally gave her a medication to help stop the vomiting and it worked! She's up and about at the moment, about to have some broth. She's kept down a few juice pops--ahh! Here's another quick painting/drawing, another restless nap.

Sick Day

Tuesday--still sick--her usual doctor moved--another retired--all others are booked--a trip to urgent care with a pocket full of barf bags--traffic delays and a few very long lights--bad stomach virus--no infections--back home to sleep. This is a very quick painting/drawing, she was sleeping, but restlessly. I hope tomorrow she's feeling better.
