I thought this skirt would only take an afternoon, but having put it together without a pattern (even though it's an easy elastic waist skirt), took a bit longer--plus I used and old shirt for the bottom ruffle, so I pieced it together--and then I had the great idea of finishing all the inside seams--why? Because I'm crazy and I just like the look and it wears longer--also the inside seams bother her skin, I thought this might help. I love using this old singer straight stitch machine.
