Climbing at Spooner's Cove, nodp

Grampa and granddaughter exploring Spooner's Cove at Montana de Oro. This is one of my favorite places!

Well I've been thinking...This blog has changed over time from just little daily paintings to postings of pictures and other creative projects--the blog is morphing--I resisted this change, but change is inevitable!
My time for painting has diminished. I've been wanting to hold onto my spot in the Daily Painters and I've been revisiting some of my earlier paintings that were done before I was accepted into the Daily Painters web, (thinking that was OK since none of those paintings had been posted before on the DP)
Now I believe I should give up my spot and let some other artist have a go at it! (I know there is a waiting list for getting in and I'm feeling guilty that I'm not painting)
I haven't gotten back to painting on a regular basis and I don't think I even want to! Don't get me wrong, I do love to draw and paint, but I love to do other things as well. I'm not sure if this is a wise move--time will tell. I'll still be painting, but I'll also be posting about other things, other projects--some I'll sell--perhaps I'll create an Etsy site?!
I'd love to hear from other artist's who've come to a crossroads--what did you do? what was helpful?
My final revisited painting is, 'Water Balloons'

Plein-air day at Spooner's Cove. Very big pieces of kelp must have washed in with the storm.
