    Oh, this is really, really good!

    The painting has a soft, feminine feel and a dangerous, menacing tone at the same time! NEAT!

    The cropped image of the bird in mid-flight is awesome!

    I agree with Don Gray. You snuck so many colors into the feathers. Love that!

    Just a really strong painting!

  4. Oh! So good to hear from all of you fellow painters!--I've been painting, but just an hour here and there--chinking away with any time I get. I'm glad you could tell this is a gull--it was starting to look eagle like to me! Yes, menacing!--this gull was after FOOD!
