We lost our power early in the dark of the morning. A friend of mine is hanging an art show with power lines/
communication for a theme. I thought I'd do a few small paintings to possibly hang. there are lots of crazy overloaded poles probably in more than one place here in this little town--wires threaded every which way overhead--poles bending--scary looking really!

Wow! This is powerful. [no pun intended] Your use of light is phenomenal. You're always surprising me with your subject matter too.
ReplyDeleteI was contemplating a similar painting of the same subject of power lines, yours is just wonderful, love it!

Susan!
ReplyDeleteI love this!
How fitting that this painting of power lines looks so lively in appearance.
Something about the way you painted this that just looks so animated and electric (like Sheila's comment up above....no pun intended).
Great job capturing the feel of the subject matter!
